Children's and special food stuff Nutritek production plant

Children's and special food stuff Nutritek production plant was built by Nutritek Group in 2002 in Istra city, Moscow region, nowadays it is the biggest Russian enterprise in this field.

The range of output products includes:

Children's food stuff (children's standard and specialized milk mixtures);
Food stuff for people with genetic diseases including phenylketonuria;
Products for pregnant and nursing women;
Enteral clinical feeding;
Sports feeding;
Children's water.

The enterprise is equipped according to world standards demanded of the producers of children's and special food stuff. The technical facilities of the plant provide an opportunity to produce the majority of components necessary for output of final products at the enterprise itself. This fact makes the plant different from many other plants in this field and allows to have close quality control of raw materials. Clinical approbations undertaken at the leading clinics of the country proved high efficiency of clinical nutrition produced at Nutritek plant.

The compliance with the international standards makes the plant a unique one not only on the territory of the Russian Federation, but all Eastern Europe. Nutritek plant, one of a few in Russia, was given a Certificate of compliance with the European system of quality control HASSP.

State research institution Scientific-research institute of children's food stuff of Russian Academy of Agriculture sciences is the only specialized scientific institution on providing the development of inter-branch industry of children's nutrition production.

Monastery and a museum complex New Jerusalem

The museum was founded in 1920. The museum fund has 170 000 units of issue. The museum is situated in an architectural memorial -New Jerusalem monastery of Resurrection — a unique phenomenon in the history of Russian culture. The idea of its creator, a reformer of Russian Orthodox Church — patriarch Nikon (1605 — 1681), was to recreate in the environs of Moscow, on the Istra river, the image of the Holy Land — "Russian Palestines" — with a replica of the temple of God's Grave. Situated near Moscow "Palestine" was planned and realized as a grand architectural-landscape complex, which besides the monastery includes a zone of artificial landscape. There is also Sion, Favor, Eleon, and the Gephsiman Garden, Kedron spring, etc. Among the trees in the Gephsiman garden there is a vivifying spring called the Siloam font.

Farther on the bank of the Istra river, called in this place Jordan, is placed one of the earliest monuments of New Jerusalem complex — a miniature four-storeyed building called "hermitage" or patriarch Nikon's hermitage.

Historic-architectural and arts museum "New Jerusalem" is one of the oldest state museums in the vicinities of Moscow. It keeps multiple historic-art wealth (archeological and ethnographic collections, Russian and foreign fine and decorative arts, icon painting, front and ornamental embroidery, documents, handwritten and rare printed books, copper castings, household items of different epochs). But the main object of study and exhibit is the monastery ensemble itself — the history of its creation, architectural and arts values, the process of its restoration.

Nowadays the museum "New Jerusalem" is one of the biggest in the vicinities of Moscow.

Its exposition occupies a large two-storeyed building of Refectory rooms and the Exhibition building behind the monastery walls. In 1970s-80s in the park area of the monastery an open -air museum was founded, it includes such monuments of folk timber architecture: the Church of Epiphany, a chapel, the Khakorin's country estate with the interior and a windmill. This exposition introduces the visitors to the architectural culture and the household of peasants in Moscow region in XVIII — XIX centuries. Annually about 200 thousand people visit the museum.
